EXHIBITS 2023
Highlights from last year include being accepted into the NOAPS (National Oil and Acrylic Painters Society) Spring Online Exhibition for my painting 6733, the Pennsylvania Railroad steam engine shown below.
Western Maryland Engine 195 (below) was accepted into the NOAPS Best of America 2023 Exhibition at the Principle Gallery in Alexandria in August and September. This was a thrill for me to be included in such an exhibit along with some outstanding artists.
Another solo show in July and August was Heavy Metal, a collection of 18 paintings from my train series held at the Delaplaine Arts Center in Frederick Maryland. I also did a presentation regarding my painting process.
I was very excited to have 2 large paintings from my train series accepted the Wayne Art Center's 2023 Regional Spring Juried Exhibition show in March and April. It was a beautiful exhibit space with many wonderful paintings.
EXHIBITS 2022
The year was very busy with several art exhibits, starting in October of 2022 with my solo exhibit Working on the Railroad at the Art League of Alexandria in Virginia. My wife Susan treated me to a wine making experience for my birthday at the Olney Winery. The result was several bottles of red wine with my label design and the name Red Caboose. The original painting is in the background in the picture from the opening reception. The wine was presented to friends at the reception and to buyers of paintings at the exhibit.
